Kiturami CTR-5700 PLUS expliqué
An older Kiturami (HOMSYS) wall controller: one round button cycles Room / Timer / Away, side buttons set the temperature, season and timer.
À quoi sert chaque bouton ?
- 1Screen · 표시창pyosichangShows the mode (실내/예약/외출/목욕), current room temp (left) and the temp you want (right), plus the season word at the bottom.
- 2Running light · 운전unjeonLights when the boiler is allowed to run in the current mode. Off = boiler resting.
- 3Up (▲) · 올림ollimRaises whatever is shown: the wanted room temp in 실내 mode, or the flashing timer value while setting 예약.
- 4Down (▼) · 내림naerimLowers the wanted temp or the flashing timer value.
- 5Season (water temp) · 계절선택gyejeol seontaekSets how hot the radiator water gets. Each press steps 여름 → 가을 → 봄 → 초겨울 → 겨울 (45 / 55 / 65 / 75 / 80°C). It does NOT switch heating off.
- 6Timer settings · 예약설정yeyak seoljeongChanges the timer numbers. Press once: one number flashes, change it with ▲/▼. Press again: the other number flashes. Only matters in 예약 mode.
- 7Mode: Room / Timer / Away · 실내·예약·외출silnae · yeyak · oechulEach press moves to the next mode: 실내 (room thermostat) → 예약 (timed on/off cycles) → 외출 (away / frost protection) → back to 실내.
- 8Bath (extra hot water) · 목욕mogyokBoosts hot water for a bath or long shower. Goes back to the previous mode by itself after 2 h 30 min.
- 9Power · 전원jeonwonTurns the controller and boiler on/off. Also resets the boiler after an error (3 tries in a row, then wait 5 min).
Quel réglage choisir ?
Winter: 실내 mode, wanted temp 21–22°C, season 겨울 (80°C water). Spring/autumn: 초겨울 or 봄. Out for the day: 외출. Avoid 예약 unless you set sensible numbers (about 20–30 min on / 1–2 h off).

Chauffer la pièce à une température
- 1Press 실내·예약·외출 until the top-left of the screen says 실내.
- 2Press ▲ or ▼ until the right number (희망온도) shows 22.
- 3Press 계절선택 until the bottom of the screen says 겨울 (Dec–Feb) or 초겨울 (Nov, March).
- 4Wait. The 운전 light is on while the room is colder than 22°C and goes off when it reaches it.
Partir quelques jours
- 1Press 실내·예약·외출 until the screen says 외출.
- 2Leave the power ON — the boiler needs power and gas to protect the pipes.
- 3In a deep freeze (below about −10°C outside) use 실내 at 10–15°C instead, as the manual advises.
Programmer
- 1Press 실내·예약·외출 until the screen says 예약.
- 2Press 예약설정. One number flashes — set it with ▲/▼.
- 3Press 예약설정 again. The other number flashes — set it with ▲/▼.
- 4Left number = 예약가동 = minutes the boiler RUNS. Right number = 예약정지 = hours it RESTS.
- 5Example from the manual: 20 min on, 2 h off, repeating. A good winter start is 20–30 min on / 1–2 h off.
- 6Stop touching it for a few seconds and it saves.
Eau chaude seule (été)
- 1This model has no 'hot water only' button.
- 2In summer press 실내·예약·외출 until it says 외출: heating stays off unless pipes risk freezing, and taps still give hot water.
- 3Optional: press 계절선택 until it says 여름 (lowest radiator water temp, 45°C).
Éteindre
- 1Press 전원. Screen goes dark.
- 2In winter, use 외출 instead of switching off so the pipes cannot freeze.

Les pièges de ce modèle
- A wanted temp of 30°C (as in one photo) means the boiler basically never stops — big gas bill. 21–23°C is plenty.
- Timer trap (photo 49): 예약 showing 60분 예약가동 / 22시간 예약정지 means the boiler runs 60 minutes and then rests 22 HOURS. The room will be cold almost all day. Lower the 정지 number to 1–2 hours or switch back to 실내.
- 계절선택 (season) only changes how hot the radiator water is. Setting 여름 does not turn the heating off — use 외출 for that.
- 목욕 switches back to the previous mode after 2 h 30 min by itself.
- The one round mode button cycles 실내 → 예약 → 외출. If you overshoot, keep pressing — it loops.
Un code erreur s'affiche ?
Errors flash on the screen as 'Er' plus a number, and the screen may also show 'A/S 문의는 1588-9000'. From the CTR-5700PLUS manual: Er 01 = burner did not light, Er 03 = flame went out (check the gas valve is open), Er 95 = low water (refill/pressure), Er 96 = overheat, Er 97 = gas leak detected (open windows, do not use switches, call). Press 전원 (power) off/on to restart — it only allows 3 restarts in a row, then wait 5 minutes. If it comes back, call 1588-9000.
