Room mode at 22°C if the controller is away from windows and heaters; otherwise water mode at 60°C. Hot water 43°C. Timer 3 h when out for the day.

How do I…?

Turn it on

  1. 1Press 전원 (bottom middle).

Heat the room to a set temperature

  1. 1Press 난방 so the heating icon is on.
  2. 2If the radiator icon shows, hold 난방 until the house-with-thermometer icon shows (room mode).
  3. 3Press 난방 ∧ / ∨ (left pair) to 22 (range 5–40°C). It blinks for 10 s, then saves.

Use floor (ondol) mode

  1. 1Hold 난방 until the radiator icon shows (boiler-water mode).
  2. 2Press 난방 ∧ / ∨ to 60 (range 45–80°C).

Leave for a few days

  1. 1Press 외출. The suitcase icon shows. The boiler only does freeze protection.
  2. 2In freezing weather leave a hot tap dripping slightly to protect the hot-water pipe (manual advice).

Run on a timer

  1. 1Press 타이머. The current interval blinks on the bottom bar.
  2. 2Press 난방 ∧ / ∨ to choose the interval in 1-hour steps (1–24 h).
  3. 3Press 타이머 to confirm. The boiler then heats 30 minutes per interval.
  4. 4With 6 h or less it heats first; with 7 h or more it pauses first.

Hot water only (summer)

  1. 1Press 난방 so the heating icon goes off. Keep 온수 on.
  2. 2Hot water works; no heating.

Change the hot-water temperature

  1. 1Press 온수 ∧ / ∨ (right pair). Range 35–60°C, default 43. It blinks 10 s, then saves.

Turn it off

  1. 1Press 전원. (Turning both 난방 and 온수 off also powers down.)

What trips people up on this model?

  • Holding 난방 (not tapping) switches room vs water mode — a tap just turns heating off.
  • In room mode the reading depends on where the controller hangs; drafts or sun make it wrong (manual note).
  • Settings blink for 10 s before they save.
  • Remembers its settings after a power cut.
  • No 물보충 lamp: low water shows as error E1. If the 물보충 (water refill) light or code comes on, the boiler is low on heating water and will stop to protect itself. Do not open panels or valves. Message your landlord / building manager first, then call the A/S number. A light that keeps coming back usually means a leak.

It shows an error. Now what?

Codes show on the LCD. Uo = no ignition (open gas valve); E1 = no water (check water cut, then A/S); E3 = overheating (open the floor manifold valves); E6 = gas leak; others call 1588-7339.
