Tips to stay under the cap
Ondol at 20–22°CFloor heating is the biggest cost. Keep it low and steady instead of blasting it.
외출 mode, not offGoing out? Away mode keeps winter pipes safe for very little.
Shorter hot showersThe water heater runs on gas.
AC at 26°CKeep the door shut, and switch it off when you leave.
Air-dry laundryUse the drying rack. Heaters and dryers eat electricity.
Unplug on the way outSpace heaters, electric blankets, chargers.
Your residence card paperwork, handledYour residence form (거주확인서), free at move-in. We tell you what to bring.

Quick answers

What's included in the rent?

A furnished room, linens, Wi-Fi and water, plus gas and electricity up to your house's monthly allowance (₩75,000–100,000 for the whole house). No agent fee and no key money.

Are towels provided?

No. Bed linens are provided, but bring your own towels and toiletries.

How do I pay the deposit?

One month's rent, or ₩1,200,000 if your rent is lower. Pay in euro to Revolut or in won to a Korean bank account. Your contract has the details for both.

When do I get my deposit back?

On the 11th of the month after you move out. We close the books on the 10th. The only deduction is the ₩75,000 cleaning fee.

Can a man book a women-only house?

No. That's exactly why we ask for an intro. We'll point you to a mixed house that fits.

I'm under 18. Can I still book?

Yes, as long as a parent or guardian also signs the contract.

When is my room actually reserved?

Once the signed contract and the deposit are both in. Until then, other people can still book it.

What if I'm the first one in the house?

You get a say. We bring you into choosing the housemates who fill the other rooms.
