What past tenants say

Staying in Korea was made so much easier thanks to Shared Homies! Before coming to Korea, I hopped on a call with the landlord, Steve, to go through all the options, and this was already a much more personal experience compared to other housing companies.

Staying in Korea was made so much easier thanks to Shared Homies! Before coming to Korea, I hopped on a call with the landlord, Steve, to go through all the options, and this was already a much more personal experience compared to other housing companies. Once I was actually in Seoul, Steve would always quickly reply to any questions I had or would be at the apartment within an hour if something was wrong. The apartment was completely furnished with everything you need, including bedding, towels, etc. The deposit is low compared to other options in Korea, and Steve speaks perfect English, so I didn’t have to worry about communicating in (broken) Korean.

A room at HBC9 · Blossom costs ₩1,000,000–₩1,350,000 (≈ €562–€758) per month, all-in: rent, utilities, and WiFi in one monthly price. Exact prices per room are listed on this page.

What deposit do I need to move into HBC9 · Blossom?

The deposit at HBC9 · Blossom is ₩1,500,000–₩1,750,000 (≈ €843–€983) depending on the room, returned at move-out per your contract. There is no jeonse (전세) lump sum and no key money — this is a fraction of the ₩5,000,000+ deposits typical for a direct wolse (월세) lease.

Can I see HBC9 · Blossom before booking from abroad?

Yes. We do a live video walkthrough with every prospect who wants one — every room, the common areas, and the street outside, with someone on-site answering your questions in real time. If you're already in Seoul, we'll arrange an in-person tour instead.

Do I need a Korean guarantor or ARC to rent at HBC9 · Blossom?

No. You book with your passport and visa — no Korean guarantor, no Korean bank account, and no ARC (외국인등록증) required upfront. Once you move in, HBC9 · Blossom gives you a real Seoul address you can use for your ARC application, banking, and a phone contract.

Where is HBC9 · Blossom located?

HBC9 · Blossom is in Haebangchon (해방촌), the international neighbourhood on the Namsan slope between Itaewon (이태원) and Seoul Station. The map and neighbourhood guide on this page show exactly what's around the house.

What's included in the rent at HBC9 · Blossom?

Every room comes fully furnished — bed, desk, and storage — with shared kitchen and living areas. Utilities and WiFi are part of the monthly price, so the number you see is the number you pay each month.
