Daesung Celtic DR-240 ์์ด ์ค๋ช
A simple Daesung wall controller: four round buttons pick the mode and one big centre dial sets the temperature or timer.

์ด๋ค ์ค์ ์ด ์ข๋์?
Floor mode (์จ๋) at 60ยฐC while you are home; ์์ฝ๋๋ฐฉ at 3h when out for the day in winter; hot water 45ยฐC. Daesung's own manual recommends floor mode over room mode because room mode is easily fooled by drafts and ventilation.

- 1Press ์ค์จยท์จ๋ until the display shows a setting between 10 and 40 (room-air mode).
- 2Turn the dial to 22.
- 3Leave it. It saves after a moment and heats whenever the room is below 22ยฐC.
์จ๋ ๋ชจ๋
- 1Press ์ค์จยท์จ๋ until the display shows a setting between 50 and 80 (floor mode).
- 2Turn the dial to 60.
- 3Leave it. The boiler keeps the floor-pipe water at 60ยฐC.

- 1Press ์ธ์ถ (bottom right). Its lamp lights and the display shows 'ot'.
- 2When you are back, press ์ค์จยท์จ๋ to return to heating.
์์ฝ ์ค์
- 1Press ์์ฝ๋๋ฐฉ (bottom left). Its lamp lights and the display shows hours, e.g. 3h.
- 2Turn the dial to choose the pause: 1h to 6h.
- 3The boiler heats for 20 minutes, pauses for that many hours, and repeats.
์จ์๋ง (์ฌ๋ฆ)
- 1Press ์จ์์ ์ฉ (middle right). Its lamp lights.
- 2Heating is now off; hot water still works.
์จ์ ์จ๋ ๋ฐ๊พธ๊ธฐ
- 1Press ์จ์์ ์ฉ.
- 2Turn the dial: 37โ45ยฐC in 1ยฐC steps, 45โ60ยฐC in 5ยฐC steps. 45 is comfortable for showers.
- 3Press ์ค์จยท์จ๋ afterwards if you want heating back โ ์จ์์ ์ฉ keeps heating off.

- 1Press ์ ์. The display goes dark and heating and hot water stop.

- After using ์จ์์ ์ฉ the heating stays OFF until you press ์ค์จยท์จ๋ again.
- To stop heating in room mode, set the dial below the current room temperature.
- DR-240 and DR-240N look identical but use different boiler wiring โ they are not interchangeable if you replace one.
- Hidden setting (user blog, not in the manual): hold ์์ฝ๋๋ฐฉ about 5 s to change the 20-minute timer run time (5โ55 min).
- Don't switch off with ์ ์ in deep winter; use ์ธ์ถ or the timer. Daesung boilers have built-in freeze protection (pipe water at 7ยฐC or below triggers a run up to 40ยฐC), but only while the boiler is plugged in and the gas valve is open.
