Navien NR-10E expliqué
An older two-dial Navien controller: the left dial picks the mode, the right dial sets how warm, and one button cycles hot water low/medium/high.
À quoi sert chaque bouton ?
- 1Temperature display · 온도 표시창ondo pyosichangShows a temperature in °C. It switches off completely when the right dial is set to 외출 (Away).
- 2Hot water Low / Medium / High lights · 저 / 중 / 고jeo / jung / goOne green light shows the current hot-water level. Low is coolest, High is hottest.
- 3Hot water level button · 온수조절onsu jojeolEach press moves hot water one step: Low → Medium → High.
- 4Running light · 운전unjeonGreen when the controller is on and the boiler is in operation.
- 5Check / fault light · 점검jeomgeomLights when the boiler has a fault. If it stays on, call A/S.
- 6Power light · 전원 램프jeonwon raempeuGreen when the controller is switched on.
- 7Power button · 전원jeonwonTurns the controller on or off. Off stops heating and hot water.
- 8Hot water only · 온수전용onsu jeonyongTurn the left dial here for hot water with no heating. Use it in summer.
- 9Room-air mode · 실내silnaeTurn the left dial here to heat until the room air reaches the temperature set on the right dial (10–40°C).

- 13Away · 외출oechulTurn the right dial fully left to here: heating stops, hot water and frost protection stay on. The display goes dark.
- 14Heat dial · 난방조절nanbang jojeolSets the target: room temperature in 실내, floor-water temperature in 온돌, pause hours in 예약. Turn toward + for more.

Quel réglage choisir ?
Left dial on 실내, right dial at 21–23°C, hot water on 중. For trips longer than a day, right dial to 외출.

Chauffer la pièce à une température
- 1Turn the left dial (기능선택) to 실내. The 실내 light turns on.
- 2Turn the right dial (난방조절) until the display shows 22.
- 3Wait. The boiler runs until the room reaches 22°C, then pauses.
Mode sol (ondol)
- 1Turn the left dial to 온돌.
- 2Turn the right dial to about 55–60 on the display (range 40–80°C).
- 3Higher numbers heat the floor faster and use more gas.
Partir quelques jours
- 1Turn the right dial (난방조절) all the way left to 외출.
- 2The 외출 light turns on and the display goes dark. Hot water still works and the boiler protects the pipes from freezing.
- 3When you come back, turn the right dial back to your temperature.
Programmer
- 1Turn the left dial to 예약.
- 2Turn the right dial to set how many hours the boiler pauses between runs (0–9 h, 1-hour steps).
- 3The run length itself is fixed by the boiler; you only choose the pause.
Eau chaude seule (été)
- 1Turn the left dial (기능선택) to 온수전용.
- 2To heat again, turn it back to 실내, 온돌 or 예약.
Régler l'eau chaude
- 1Press 온수조절 until the light you want is lit: 저 (low), 중 (medium) or 고 (high).
Éteindre
- 1Press 전원. Heating and hot water stop.
- 2In winter use 외출 instead, so the pipes stay protected.

Les pièges de ce modèle
- Turning the right dial too far left lands on 외출: the heat stops and the display goes blank. It is not broken.
- The right dial means different things in each mode: °C of air in 실내, °C of floor water in 온돌, pause hours in 예약.
- Hot water has only three steps (저/중/고), not a number.
