“I spent 4 months in this apartment in Seoul for my studies and it was wonderful ! I shared it with 2 roommates who were very nice ! The apartment was very comfortable and there was plenty of space !The owner was also very helpful, I recommend ! Thank you very much, I had a wonderful stay !”
“Shared homies is an easy way to find a house in Korea and meet people there. Steve was really available and helped us every time we needed it. The rent may be a bit high, but the deposit being low makes it convenient. Since the house I stayed in was pretty old, the isolation wasn't the best so it was really hot in summer and really cold in winter, but Steve did his best to fix the problems encountered. I had a great experience overall!”
“My best friend and I chose Shared Homies because we wanted to live together during our stay in Korea without going through traditional apartment rentals that usually require a minimum 1-year contract. We were staying for 11 months, so the flexibility was perfect. The rent is a bit high compared to some other options, but the deposit is really low, which helped us a lot as students. Our stay was overall very pleasant. We had two different roommates during the year and got along with both of them really well. One thing we really appreciated was being able to meet them through FaceTime beforehand to see if we were a good match! That made a big difference. Steve, who manages the rentals, was always very available and willing to help. Since the apartment we stayed in was quite old, we had some common issues (it was cold in the winter, hot in the summer) but Steve always did his best to make things more comfortable for us. One issue with our door took a bit of time to fix, as we had to go through a few steps, but in the end it was resolved and the handle is like new! The flexibility of the contract dates was also a big plus… we were even able to extend our stay without any problems when our plans changed. Living in a shared house also allowed us to meet new people and feel less alone, especially at the beginning of our stay in Korea. Would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Korea for a few months and looking for a friendly, flexible, and community-oriented living experience! PS: Thanks for the Ice-creams~”
“My experience with Shared Homies was honestly amazing. I was there for 5 months, the logistics and settling in was very smooth which was a big relief because it was my first time in South Korea ! The house was warm and welcoming and I was always looking forward to coming home after a long day of work aha. Definitely recommend :)”
“Really cool apartment very well located in Seoul. Steve is always quick to anwser to help us when needed. I totally recommend!!”
“I stayed at SharedHomies apartment for six months and really enjoyed my stay! The apartment is very comfortable and warm, with spacious shared areas that are perfect for living with roommates. The rooms are also spacious, making it easy to have your own space, with plenty of furniture. Steve, the owner, was always attentive if we needed anything, and he made sure to connect people already living there with new roommates, which created a safe atmosphere and helped build a good match between everyone. The neighborhood is also very convenient, with lots of cafés, marts, convenience stores, subway and bus options, and restaurants. It’s a calm and safe area, perfect for living in Korea. I really felt at home there, so I would definitely recommend it for both short and long stays, and I would definitely come back!”
“I stayed at a Shared Homies apartment for 6 months and honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better living experience in Korea. From the very beginning, communication was incredibly smooth and well-organized. Steve, is absolutely amazing, he genuinely cares about creating a positive and respectful atmosphere in his properties. Before I even moved in, he made sure to connect me with the other future roommates, so we could get to know each other, set expectations, and feel comfortable. I really appreciated how selective he was about who he accepts, which ensures a good match between housemates. It made me feel safe and welcome from day one. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and very comfortable. There’s plenty of room for everyone, and the common areas are perfect for both privacy and socializing. Everything you could possibly need is nearby, convenience stores, restaurants, cafés, transport. Whether you're new to Korea or have been here a while, it's a great place to feel at home. Living here made my experience in Korea even more special. I made great friends, had lots of meaningful conversations, and truly felt part of a little community. If you’re looking for a cozy, well-managed, and welcoming home in Seoul, Shared Homies is 100% the way to go”
“Amazing modern place we got to stay at. Great value for money as we were visiting for 3 weeks. Thought we were able to find something modern with Steven and luckily enjoyed it a lot. We looked around Seoul and it was hard to find anything modern + decent sized for a good price so we felt fortunate about this one! Very clean & responsive too! Would use again next time we visit as well.”
“I stayed almost one year in the apartment, it was clean and equipped, the location was good, everything we needed was close to the apartment (supermarket, subway station, bus stop,...), the owner is really nice and available if we needed something. I recommend ! 😁”
“The house was great and Steve is very nice and helpful! I spent a wonderful year.”
“I lived in a shared homies property for about 7 months and it was great! Steve was an amazing landlord and always super responsive and quick to act on the few minor issues while I had while living in Seoul. totally recommend staying at one of their properties!”
“i stayed here for several months and it was honestly really great. the rent was affordable. the location was close to the university i attended and it was right in the middle of Seoul, which made many outings a breeze. if there were any issues, they would be solved within the week which also meant it was very easy to communicate. Steve was also accommodating when i wanted to extend my lease. thank you so much for making my stay in Korea memorable :)”
“I stayed in a house near Itaewon and thanks to this agency, and the experience turned out to be extremely positive. The house was cozy and well-maintained, located in a lively area that makes it easy to explore every corner of the city. Steve was always available and friendly, quickly addressing any need to make the stay even more comfortable. Communication with Steve was simple and transparent. I highly recommend this agency to anyone looking for a long term accommodation in Seoul.”
“Amazing housing experience in Seoul! I had a fantastic stay at my apt in HBC The apartment was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed for a seamless experience. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation, shops, and restaurants, making it perfect for exploring the city. The landlord, Steve is incredibly professional and very reactive —he quickly addressed any questions or needs I had during my stay. It truly felt like a home away from home, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Seoul!! The main communication is in english, making it easier for foreigners to ask any questions. The process is highly reliable, they ensure all the tenants to get to know each other for collective approval before moving to the housing, and everything is proceeded very clear with indications when you arrive in seoul! Highly recommend this housing option for anyone visiting or moving to the city!”
“Place was very Comfortable and owner is very supportive Highly recommend”
“I rented an apartment from SharedHomies during my semester abroad in Seoul, and I am very happy about my decision. From the application process to handing the keys, everything went smoothly and without any issues. Throughout my stay, Steve was incredibly friendly, helpful, reliable and always quick to respond to any questions or problems I had. The apartment itself was also clean and well-maintained, which made me feel comfortable. I would definitely choose SharedHomies again in the future. Since it’s also a great opportunity to meet new people and make some new friendships. Highly recommend! Thank you, Steve!”
“I had a really nice and convenient experience with Shared-Homies! The apartment was decorated nicely and had every appliance that one would need, it was also very good located. Besides that, Steve always answers really fast and takes quick action for any problem that might come up in the apartment. I can easily recommend it 😊 if i come back to Korea, i’ll probably use this service again!!”
“Very friendly and quick to reply! Thanks for making my experience special. Highly recommend 💯”
“It was a good stay at the apartment and very comfortable place to live in. If you need any assistance regarding the apartment you can easily reach out to Steve and he’ll gladly help you out!”
“Booked this place for a colleague of mine visiting Korea for a month. The location is great and very convenient to use public transports. The neighbourhood is quiet but has all you need... Convenience Stores, fitness, restaurants, etc... Steve is a great host and very responsive to any request. The reservation process was flawless and very convenient.. Couple of messages, payment, and it was done... Same for the refund of the deposit at the end of the stay. To conclude, highly impressed with the service and recommend it without reservation!”
