SNU’s main campus sprawls up the side of Gwanak Mountain. The areas students rent in:

• Sillim-dong — the dense student/exam-prep district just west of the station; cheap food, study cafes, the most familiar SNU student neighborhood.
• Nakseongdae — one Line 2 stop east; quieter residential, often slightly cheaper.
• Bongcheon — south on Line 2; similar profile, family-friendly.

Heads up: the campus is uphill from Seoul Nat’l Univ. Station. Most students take the campus shuttle bus (free, frequent) from the station; expect ~15–20 min station-to-classroom even when you live close to the subway.

The roadmap above is the path. The catch: a D-2 visa and the ARC both need proof of address — a signed lease, often a residence confirmation or payment receipt.

Dorm waitlists often can’t document a room in time. A share-house lease is accepted proof, and we issue the contract + receipt.
