A two-dial Daesung panel: the left dial picks the mode, the right dial sets the temperature, with a red number display on top.
¿Qué hace cada botón?
- 1Display · 표시창pyosichangShows the temperature setting while you turn a dial, or the timer hours. Blank in Away.
- 2Running · 가동gadongLights when the boiler is heating.
- 3Water refill · 물보충mulbochungLights when the boiler is low on heating water. See the safety note.
- 4Away · 외출oechulLights when Away mode is on.
- 5Hot-water temp · 온수온도 (저온/고온)onsu ondo (jeoon/goon)Each press toggles hot water between 저온 (Lo) and 고온 (HI). The small lamp next to the label shows which.
- 6Power · 전원jeonwonTurns the controller on or off.
- 7Mode dial · 기능선택gineung seontaekTurn to 온수전용 (hot water only), 실온 (room air), 온돌 (floor) or 예약 (timer). The ring glows for the active mode.
- 8Heat dial · 난방조절nanbang jojeolSets the temperature (실온 10–40°C, 온돌 50–80°C) or the timer gap (1–6 h). Fully left = 외출.
- 9Away position · 외출oechulDotted mark at the far left of the heat dial. Turning the heat dial here puts the boiler in Away; turn right to cancel.

Left dial on 온돌, right dial at 60; hot water on 저온; 예약 at 3 h when out for the day in winter.

Calentar la habitación a una temperatura
- 1Turn the left dial (기능선택) to 실온.
- 2Turn the right dial (난방조절) until the display shows 22 (range 10–40°C).
- 3Leave it; it saves after a moment.
Modo suelo (ondol)
- 1Turn the left dial to 온돌.
- 2Turn the right dial until the display shows 60 (range 50–80°C).
Salir unos días
- 1Turn the right dial (난방조절) fully left to the dotted 외출 mark. The 외출 lamp lights and the display goes blank.
- 2To cancel, turn the right dial back to the right.
Programar
- 1Turn the left dial to 예약.
- 2Turn the right dial to choose the pause: 1 to 6 hours.
- 3The boiler heats 20 minutes, pauses that long, and repeats.
Solo agua caliente (verano)
- 1Turn the left dial to 온수전용. Heating stops; hot water still works.
Ajustar el agua caliente
- 1Press 온수온도 (left round button) to toggle 저온 (Lo) / 고온 (HI). Use 저온 for showers.
Apagar
- 1Press 전원. Display goes off; heating and hot water stop.

Trampas de este modelo
- Turning the right dial all the way left is not 'minimum heat' — it is 외출 (Away).
- 온수전용 means no heating. If the room is cold in winter, check the left dial first.
- Hot water has only two levels; 고온 can scald.
- Some guides warn not to use 외출 in deep cold. Daesung boilers have built-in freeze protection (pipe water at 7°C or below triggers a run up to 40°C), but only while the boiler is plugged in and the gas valve is open.
- If the 물보충 (water refill) light or code comes on, the boiler is low on heating water and will stop to protect itself. Do not open panels or valves. Message your landlord / building manager first, then call the A/S number. A light that keeps coming back usually means a leak.
